Yong Hak Kim
International Trade and Commercial Law
Yong Hak Kim, Partner of Feldman Weinstein & Smith LLP, concentrates his practice on international trade and commercial and customs law. Representations include trade financing, licensing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution arrangements and service contracts, claims against bankrupt companies, and Customs penalty proceedings. He also represents domestic and international clients in litigations and disputes of all kinds.

Kim received a Bachelor of Law degree from Seoul National University Korea in 1975 and a Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in 1986. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States Court of International Trade. Kim is also affiliated with a number of law firms in Korea, through which he assists American clients with their business dealings in Korea.

Prior to practicing law in the United States, Kim worked with the Overseas Cooperation Council of the Korean Government, which was then equivalent to the Office of the United States Trade Representative, and the Korean Institute of Science and Technology. He has lectured extensively on matters of import and export controls and the international transfer of technology. He has authored articles on international copyrights, as well as, treatises in Korean about the United States import regulations published by Korea International Trade Association.
